204 Today, at least so far. It is 4:33 AM. Can't sleep so I thought I would do a couple things before I go back to bed.
The last post was published on facebook first. It was amazing all the comments I got, support. All the people that have the same pain, same wishes, similar problems.
Such a huge deal to have so much support. I was a little shocked at all the comments, warmed too.
This would be a bit less disjointed if it was 8:00 AM. At least I hope it would.
I have been looking for photo's, a "Before Shot". Wow! Aren't we good at avoiding being photographed! This is not at my highest weight. I had actually lost for my daughters wedding.
I have 2 goals with this blog. The first is to keep me accountable! Every morning I have to be honest and post where I am and how I am doing. The second, and better one is to let others know they are not alone! Join me in my journey! There will be accomplishments and failures. Together we will all improve!

Here we go! Fast start 2012
Several years ago, on my 45th birthday, I found myself at the glorious weight of 255 pounds at 5'7.5". Literally falling apart I called Connie Bowcutt who listened patiently and the said "Well....what are you going to do about it". Sounds like our Connie! I did do something and eventually got to 225. I have floated between 220-230 since then.
In October 2011, I went to Darla Peterson in Rigby, she is a Massage Therapist at the Family Massage place on Main Street. She got me into proper nutrition, and without any exercising, just eating HEALTHY, I dropped to 205 fairly quickly! And more important, I felt fantastic and had unbelievable energy!
Then life, habits and the holidays kicked in and I went back to 214. I was actually surprised that I stayed under 210 until Ron's fudge season hit and I partook.......... a lot.
Then Dr. Phil and "The Doctors" talked about the "Pink Method" of weight loss. It looked a lot like what Darla was trying to teach me. This was very specific, had very detailed daily menu's (simple) and included a very healthy and sensible exercise program. OK, spent more money on less, so I ordered it.
Started at 214 on Monday January 2nd. The first part is called reset. Depending on the amount of weight you need to loose, you go 1 week or two. (I get two) Today is the 7th. In 5 days with no exercise (not allowed in reset) I am as of today back at 205! That is 9 pounds in in only 5 days!!!! Eating Healthy...who would have guessed! So I am justifying it by saying, well, those were really "new" pounds. I don't care! They are gone!!!!
This is part of what I want to do. My goal is 150. Have not been below 200 in well over a decade. The last time I was at 150, I was 17. And I really think, that when I reach that goal, I will decide it needs to be in the range of 140, where all those stinking charts say I should be.
I am putting all this very embarrassing and personal info on out ther for two reasons. #1, to be public and accountable about where I am and what my goal is. And #2, to encourage anyone else who has ever been where I am and maybe we can be healthier together.
That is the Biggest goal. Skinny is not what I want. STRONG - HEALTHY, that is where I am going.
And for those of you that I know are out there, the ones still in emotional Jr. High, go for it. Everything is here to laugh at. Won't be the first time. And you don't matter. For everyone else who I also know is out there, Thank you for your kindness and encouragement.
